Summer Day Fencing Camps 2010

June 21 - June 25;
June 28 - July 2;
August 30 - September 3

Day Fencing Camps  will be held at  Maestro Fencing Club facilities:
217 W. Main Str., Somerville, NJ 08876

Maestro Fencing Camps are designed to provide an intensive and comprehensive fencer's skills in 3 weapons: Foil, Epee & Saber.  Fencing Camps includes daily group classes and individual instructions, competitive electrical fencing along with physical training and conditioning. Fencing instructions will be available for all levels - for beginners, intermediate and advanced fencers.

Being just one week in Maestro Fencing Camp gives more then one month of regular practices ! 

Maestro Fencing Camp's Program

• Physical conditioning training
• Intensive foot-work
• Offence-defense fencing drills 
• Supervised bouting, free-fencing, tactical analysis
• Camp Tournament
• Fun games & fun fencing
  

Cost: $300/week - for Maestro Fencing Club members
          $350/week - for non-members

Fencing equipment: 

Knickers, jacket, underarm protector, mask, gloves, body cord, chosen weapon and electric jacket. All equipment meets the minimum requirements of the USFA Rule Book. For additional information go to www.usfencing.org. Fencers should bring their own equipment for the weapon(s) in which they wish instruction. Electric scoring equipment will be utilized for all weapons. Equipment is available for sale and can be provided for beginners for the duration of the camp.

Medical Insurance:

MFC does carry liability insurance from the USFA. Fencing Camps do not provide medical insurance for attendees. In the event of an injury requiring treatment, family medical insurance must be used. Parents/guardians will be billed directly for any medical care.

Registration Fees and Refunds:

To enroll in the camp, a Parent/Guardian should complete the application and send it with deposit of $50.00 to Maestro Fencing Club. Full payment deadline - April 30, 2010.The fencers will then receive a letter of confirmation and a medical insurance form, which should be completed and brought to the first day of camp. Full refunds will be made for cancellations received by May 31, 2010.

Cancellation after this deadline will result
in a refund deduction of $50.00
